This is what community feels like.
Music Education For Every Stage… Wise Ones.Little Ones.Tweens & Teens.
Music Is For Everyone.
From first instruments to lifelong musicianship.
We believe the opportunity to make music, learn something new, and connect with others shouldn’t have an age limit.
Our programs begin with early childhood experiences designed to introduce young children to instruments, rhythm, creativity, and the joy of making music together. And as Camp Coletrain grows, we’re developing new ways to bring meaningful music experiences to older adults and seniors, creating opportunities for creativity, connection, and community at every stage of life.

Our Impact
Music creates ripples.
What began as a summer music camp in Buena Vista has grown into something much bigger. Through scholarships, festival partnerships, community programs, and experiences that reach people across generations, Camp Coletrain Inc. is creating more opportunities for people to discover what music can bring to their lives.
Our impact isn’t measured only by how many people we reach, but by the doors we open, the connections we create, and the communities that continue making music long after an experience ends.
Access
Creating opportunities to participate.
Through scholarships and accessible programming, we work to remove financial and geographic barriers so more people have the opportunity to learn, play, and make music with others.
Reach
Thousands of young people and counting.
Through our flagship camp, Pop-Up Camps, festival partnerships, workshops, and community programming, Camp Coletrain has introduced thousands of young people to instruments, musicians, and the experience of making music.
Partnerships
Greater impact happens together.
We collaborate with festivals, professional artists, community organizations, businesses, foundations, and supporters who share our belief in the power of music education. Our growing partnerships, including our work with the John Hartford Foundation, help us reach new audiences and create experiences that would not be possible alone.
Lifelong Music
Because creativity has no age limit.
Our work spans generations, from early childhood music experiences that encourage exploration and play to programs designed to keep older adults and seniors creating, learning, and connecting through music. We believe everyone deserves a place in the musical community, at every stage of life.
Let’s Create More Impact.
Because music can do more when we do it together.
Camp Coletrain Inc. is growing through partnerships with people and organizations who believe in the power of music to create connection, build confidence, and strengthen communities.
